COMPANY
L'Association des Professionnels de la Communication et du Marketing

DESCRIPTION
Comprised of over 800 active members, with 70% of them working at a senior corporate level, the APCM is the largest and most important professional marketing organization in Quebec.

BRANDING STRATEGY
The APCM website needs a professional look and feel to reflect their role as an essential resource to the marketing community and to highlight their affiliation with the American Marketing Association (AMA).

WEB STRATEGY
The APCM wanted a new French-language interactive website that would allow them to better communicate with their membership base, while simultaneously reducing time-consuming administrative tasks. HTC redesigned the site, incorporating a Careers section, online registration, and payment for multiple APCM events and activities. These changes have created new revenue streams and allow members to self-administer personal and email contact information, minimizing the upkeep required by administrators.

IGNITIONWEB MODULES
Administration Manager, Mailing List Manager, Calendar Manager, News Manager, Careers Manager, EasyText Editor, Site Statistics, and Search Tools.

IGNITIONWEB BACKEND CUSTOMIZATION
Customized Member and Subscriber Profiles with an "Export Members" function to allow regular updates to APCM’s external FileMaker database. Careers Manager allows external employers to pay online for career postings or announcements placed on the new site.

CUSTOM MODULES
Resources Manager gives APCM the ability to manage important documents in the online resource section of their site. Payments & Registration Manager processes applications and allows APCM to manage member-specific pricing options.

RESULTS
Increased revenue, reduced costs and better member communication. The automation of repetitive administrative functions, such as registration and payment processing or emailing communications bulletins, reduces the time and effort expended by the Administrative staff. Permission-based, opt-in emailing profiles, self-managed by members and mailing list subscribers, allow the APCM to easily and effectively target their communications initiatives.
