Cedars Grows with IgnitionWeb Upgrade

The Cedars Cancer Institute relaunches their website to focus on fundraising.

Cedars Cancer InstituteToday, HTC launched a new website for Cedars, expanding their IgnitionWeb platform to match the growth and development of their organization. The previous Cedars site had placed a strong emphasis on communications and outreach, building awareness for the non-profit and its goals to help individuals and families coping with the ill effects of cancer. Having reduced outreach and administrative costs for the organization through effective Internet marketing campaigns, HTC embarked on a new mission to increase online revenue through the Cedars website.

“There are many ways to help Cedars make a difference,” says HTC Account Director, Freddy Davy. “You can register and pay to attend fundraisers, donate online, or volunteer. The new website highlights these activities and encourages people to interact and get involved.” HTC created two customized modules to manage the different types of online transactions and added Promotions Manager to the existing IgnitionWeb platform to spotlight upcoming Cedars events and activities.

“They can now promote their annual Golf Tournaments and Dragon Boat Races throughout their website,” adds Davy. “They’re wonderful events. Last year I participated in the race and it was great fun for a great cause.” This custom-built IgnitionWeb tool also makes marketing special one-time events incredibly easy. “Cedars recently announced plans to bring Lance Armstrong to Montreal for a once-in-a lifetime fundraising opportunity. Their IgnitionWeb platform makes publicizing these events simple and effective, and boosts the visibility of Cedars and their work in the community.”
